Every year, when spring awoke and the first crocuses poked their heads out of the ground, Osterwirbel began to move from flower to flower, from nest to nest, conjuring up little surprises in the forest everywhere.

At the end of the day, as the sun slowly disappeared behind the hills, osterwirbel sat down on a mossy rock. He listened to the cheerful chirping of the birds and felt his heart leap with happiness. "Osterwirbel, you have fulfilled your task," he whispered to himself.

Osterwirbel ran back to his hiding place in the forest. His feet were tired, but his heart was light. Because he knew that he had made the world a little bit more colorful - with his magic and his love for Easter.
