Amalfi liegt in der Mitte der Amalfiküste und ist ein beliebter Urlaubsort in Süditalien. Sie ist eine Stadt in der italienischen Region Kampanien und Hauptort der Amalfiküste. Diesem hübschen Ort verdankt die Amalfiküste ihren Namen. Seit 1997 gehört der Küstenabschnitt zwischen Positano und Vietri sul Mare zum UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe.
