Description
"The Piano Player" by Martin Würzburger
Pirates are not all coarse and uneducated. Some sensitive people have been forced by fate to become buccaneers. The crew knew nothing about his origins, only that he could play the piano beautifully. Stupidly, sea air is not good for musical instruments and the pianos on board soon became unplayable. Many a good sailor, whose ship had just been boarded by bloodthirsty pirates and was now fearing for his life, was amazed to see how these scoundrels were the first to drag a piano out of the cargo hold and, despite all their efforts, hoist it onto their pirate ship before they could even get their hands on gold and other valuables.
